bestaimusicgenerator.com is a small independent site about one narrow subject: software that generates music, and whether any of it is worth paying for. It exists because the first page of results for "best AI music generator" is mostly lists assembled by people who have not opened the tools.

Who writes it

Casey Lindstrom. Casey Lindstrom has written about music software since 2014, first for a regional print weekly and since 2019 on the web. They run every tool on this site through the same brief before writing a word about it, and they pay for the subscriptions out of pocket.

How it is funded

Through commercial links, which appear on the guide pages and are marked where they appear. Subscriptions used for testing are paid for by this site. No vendor reviewed here has paid for placement, seen a review before publication, or been given a free account.
